$240 -> $190 -> $120

1332 g
200mm x 74mm x 33mm
Around 10k grit

It's my understanding that shiro suita are supposed to be hard to find. Anyhow, I expected shiro suita to be harder and finer because they are near the very bottom of the mine and this indeed is. It's speckled with Su and renge and the lines are not toxic and not feelable... They are so so so small. The stone does have a lot of su voids though that make pores in the surface.

Feels like waxy cold skin. Really. Kinda cool. Leaves a KILLER hair cutting edge. It snips right through without hesitation, better than any other stone I've tried. Finicky when polishing though, since the stone is so hard it is not tolerant of stray grit at all. Using a diamond plate can make some larger grit chunks gogue slightly or streak. Diamond plate is very helpful for speed though, and the grit will chug along and keep polishing, it doesn't burnish. It does release more grit. Well unless you overload it with water. And it feels really great on the hard steel . . . Quite a bit of friction and no skipping or burnishing when used only on hard steel.

The dawn/dusk suita I sold had better grit/matrix properties than this one though. That stone was amazing but had so many inclusions. The shiro suita gives a better edge though, truly sharper.

This is the silliest deal I've seen on a stone here in some time. If I wasn't actively trying to pare down on my stone stocks I'd have bought this at the original price.
