Got it recently from a generous member here. I've been a bit obsessed with this maker and bought 3 gyutos in the last few weeks. Decided to release one of them.

Excellent condition, still with the original finish. Sharpened 2 or 3 times by previous owner, starting at 1k. I've used it a few times at home and never touched the edge. Has some very superficial scratches near the makers' mark and some subtle patina on core steel.

SPECS
243x50mm
169g
spine out of handle: 3.93mm
with original box
US$345 trade value
(out of stock now and next batch will come with price increase)

I apologize for using the previous owner's pic - my phone camera just died. But it reflects well the knife's condition and I'll gladly take additional pics for whoever is interested.

I used to have a gengetsu 240 stainless and it was absolutely phenominal.

I ended up trading it years ago because at the time, I primarily used 210s (still the case normally, outside of my KS 255 that I got years later) and I wanted to trade it for my first sujihiki.

Still regret that trade, ended up getting rid of that suji eventually, and I haven't seen a restock of the gengetsu since. These are hard to come by, and excellent performers!

I still have a 210 and another 240, all SS. Phenomenal indeed!
