SOLD Global G-17 11 inch gyuto

I know, I know. I bought this one many moons ago because I already had a small set of Globals before joining this forum. Just as it arrived, I discovered KKF and handmade J-knives, and put my new Global in storage while I began to chase the dragon of knife-addiction. Anyway, this knife was used on only a few occasions after I first received it. Since then, it's been stored in an edge guard in my Global knife roll, which has been sitting in the back of a closet for a few years. I actually quite like the profile and grind of the knife, and the soft steel is nice for beater-y tasks, but I just don't use it. Time to clean house!

I paid $150 and I'm asking $85 shipped in the US. A good deal for an essentially new soft-ish stainless 11" beater.

Shocking that no one has bitten on this yet. Just kidding. But I dropped the price to $85 to see if I can get a nibble.

And it's a long shot, but I'd trade this for a Takamura petty.

it's a good knife for someone in food service who isn't into knives yet. it would probably be their first knife that could hold an edge.
