2504 g
228mm long x 63mm wide x 66mm tall
$125 shipped
My favorite fine aoto of all I've tried. Makes a fluffy swarf unlike any other stone I've used. Feels like the blade can glide -- yet abrasive even with light pressure. Makes a very 3d haze. Only 3 of the 25 or so aoto I've had are this way and soft enough to self slurry still, but hard and fine enough. Around 3-4k grit. I can't feel the inclusions, they seem softer than the stone. Hand sawn ends. Deep haze on iron. Need to start a slurry before the the haze can begin. If I overwet the stone, it burnishes and doesn't cut. Amazing tactile feedback, my favorite of all jnats I've used. It has the aizu velvetyness but ... Swarfs. Selling because I don't polish for fun much at all anymore. Close to the one I sold
@Pie, but this one is slightly finer and harder and slightly better to me, even in quality of grit. @Genghis_F
