Excellent razor stone, and excellent high polish knife or tool stone. Very pretty high grit matte finish. I think the shiro suita might be a higher grit, or is more polished at least. Hard stone, but as a velvet feel which you can see in the polish.

Had a sticker which I took off and still have. Hand sawn stones are from before electric rotary saws, so before 1930s or so

Stones this soft and fine that leave nice matte polishes aren’t super common. Looks like an awesome pickup. Inclined to believe the Narutaki stamp here.
