Hello!

For those who love exotic woods and high end handles, here is my latest handle offering. To be honest, I’ve been agonising over whether to give these up! They’re gorgeous and extremely well constructed. All the wood was handpicked by me and sourced from different purveyors from Australia and South America at considerable expense.

They’re all an appropriate size for a 240-270mm gyuto or sujihiki / yanagiba, but the middle one is a few mm shorter than the other two.

Without further delay, the handles on offer:

1. Cross-cut ziricote with black buffalo horn - $115USD plus shipping.

2. Australian desert ironwood with black buffalo horn - $110USD $95USD $80USD plus shipping.

3. York Gum with black buffalo horn - $105USD $95USD $80USD plus shipping.

Two for $205USD $180USD $150USD

All three for $295USD $285USD

(I have provided some additional group shots with handles that are not yet for sale, which better capture the shade of the woods above against other handles)

I should say that my photography skills are abysmal - the lighting does not do the handles, especially the ziricote, justice ... and the wider shots distort the width and shape of the outer-most handles. Please message me if you are after some better / different photos.

Ziricote SPF.

Other two available. Package both up for $185usd plus shipping (~$20-30 depending on location). Get in touch if you want details or want to make an offer!

Special Friday Offerbuy between now and Sunday midnight Sydney time and I will knock a further $5 off a single handle or $15 off the price of both as a package. They’re stunners (photos don’t do them justice but I’ll take a couple more that attempt to capture it) and unique Australian sourced woods. Dress up your knife in premium formalwear!

Make me an offer! Have to make room for more handles in the coming weeks!

These are great looking handles man. I'm surprised these are here as they're really well priced too. Your horn is great. If I didn't start making my own, I would have snagged that ziricote. I may have to make one. I need to find a horn source though.

No idea how they are still here. I would have been all over these, if I had knives that needed customs. Almost want to buy them to hold, but then, I dlon't know how to install them , LOL

oh, no, that will never happen... my mother always said that mu hands grew outta my ass... it would be more reliable to send the knife to you, buy your handle, and then beg you to install it and ship the knife back :)
that sounds super convenient for those unbearable itches in impolite places.

York gum sold! If you’re interested in the Australian desert ironwood, but you’re hesitant to buy just one handle and would prefer to get two or three in one parcel, please feel free to message me. I have more in some spectacular woods on the way.

Already losing money on this one. The Australian desert ironwood isn’t very common so it wasn’t cheap. In a final attempt to clear it, I’m opening it up to trades or as a partial currency for a purchase. Nothing in particular in mind. If I don’t get any further interest, I’ll withdraw and find a use for it.
