Is there a knife that you like for steak, prime rib and other meat that is not a "steak knife"?

This is why I got wooden plates to use with proper knives. I agree that using decent knives on ceramic plates is like nails on chalkboard and a complete waste of the knife...Any shorter petty does the job well . There are a lot of nice small knives out there that can do this sort of task, but I almost never use good knives at the table because I hate the feeling of a good edge and nice steel cutting on a ceramic plate (or bone china, which is what most of our stuff is). On the rare occasion I do use such a knife, it's when I'm dining alone and I can eat off the cutting board.

Do you have a picture of one? I am coming up blank.I like old western table knives with soldered handles, balanced with sand in the handle. That can be used at every meal. No idea what new knives might fit?
Knife can't eat meat, they are inanimate objects.
What about Spock?Stones eat knives, knives eat meat, meat cr@ps on stones
…and as it always has, Rock crushes Scissors
Something like this? These are not sand-filled though. From the 1950s.Do you have a picture of one? I am coming up blank.
Yes, that style. Thank you. There was a variety of different handles made. But I like such for the shape of the blade.Something like this? These are not sand-filled though. From the 1950s.
