I have (not flexing) a huge knife collection. I made an effort to have at least one examp;le of every notable Japanese maker. Of course, I realized some time ago I have way too knives. I'm presenting thsese 3 knives, but I have just about anything, so if anyone wants anything, I probably have it, just let me know. As I'm usually a buyer, I have less experience in selling. With that in mind:

TOYAMA NOBORIKOI STAINLESS GYUTO 240MM - $400 SOLD
Handle Length- 150mm
Handle Width- 20mm
Handle to Tip Length- 410mm
Hell to Tip Length- 245mm
Blade Height at Heel- 54mm
Width of Spine at Handle- 4,2mm
Width of Spine Above Heel- 3,5mm
Width of Spine at Middle- 2,4mm
Width of Spine 1cm from the tip- 1,3mm
This was purchased from JNS last year for about $485. This has been used very lightly, and I have put my edge on it, which you find satisfactory. This is Blue #1 I beliieve, although I don't think JNS specifies. One of you feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Wonderful knife, has very minor sharpening scuffs. Asking $400

MASAKAGE ZERO 240 - $450
Masakage Zero series is a premium offering for Masakage produced by Takeshi Saji in Echizen Japan. The blade is hand forged from an Aogami super steel core with stainless cladding. The blade is finished with a tsuchime hammered finish that helps with food release from the blades surface. The handle is elegantly made from ironwood, mosaic pins and a full tang construction.

Edge Length: 243mm
Height at heel: 52.1mm
Weight: 274g
Spine thickness above heel: 2.1mm
Hand orientation: 50/50
I got this last year from Knifewear, I think, for about $550. A sharpening scuff or two, but in beautiful shape. A real workhorse, which has about 64 hardness and a comfortable western handle. I'm asking $450. I think it's a bargain for a high end knife.

NIGARA 210 SG2 AMMON KUROZOME GYUTO - $385.
  • Maker: Nigara
  • Construction: Hammer Forged, San Mai
  • Cladding: Stainless Damascus (Anmon)
  • Edge Steel: SG2 Stainless Steel
  • HRC: 62+-
  • Weight: 5 oz (142g)
  • Edge Length: 197mm
  • Overall Length: 340mm
  • Spine Thickness at Heel: 1.8mm
  • Blade Height at Heel: 47.5mm
  • Handle: Wenge Octagonal
  • Buffalo Horn
  • I got this for about $450. I got this CKTG, I believe. Anyway, this has just a little more light use. I really like the size and lightness, holds a great edge. This is the first group. I would like to sell another 3 or so to make my collection more manageable. Please let me know if your are looking for anything specific, I really might have it. You experienced guys, let me know if I need to do anything more or different. Thanks for looking! Happy Hunting! I have many kinds and makers! For example, Nakagawa, Wakui, Hitahora Togashi, Yoshikane, Fujiwara (both W#1 and AS), Tetsujin, and Moritaka, to name a few. Just ask!

I also have a gorgeous 240 Bl#2 Mazaki that I am asking $340 for. Here are the Photos:

I just got corrected on my Mazaki, by a fellow member. It's WH#2 NOT Bl#2. He was able to catch the difference in the Kanjis, which I appreciate. My apologies, again, for the mistake. Due to health problems, I haven't been active in the knife community for a year, and it shows. I really just can't use and maintain all these knives anymore, so I would prefer that they go to people who know how to take care of them.

I don't know if I answered you, if not, my apologies. I have 4 Fujiwara, 2 Marboroshi nakiris, I large and 1 small, 1 Marboroshi petty, and 1 custom 180cm Denka.(Denka sold)

I have a 210 Y. Tanaka Noboiroi I got from JNS. I would discount it heavily because I didn't like the geometry and did alot of work on it. I have a Nakagawa 210 S3 kiritsuke gyuto. I also have a B! damascus 210 gyuto
Sorry, I’m not familiar with the Noboiroi line, but I’m interested if it’s not a white steel. Do you have pictures of the Noboiroi and the Nakagawa b1 gyuto? Also, what are your prices on them?
