I recently picked up a couple of petties in this line, they are super nice.

I have a possible line on another knife I really like and am waiting to hear back but I think so far those two are at the top of the list.

Right now the top two slots are occupied by a potential Geshin Ginga and the Akifusa.

Both are really nice choices! What is the steel on the Geshin? For me, it would have to be the same or pretty special to not choose the AS knife, but that reflects my own bias having had great experiences/knives in AS.

Not sure yet on the Gesshin steel. Do they make the Ginga in carbon as well as the stainless?

AS is a steel I don't yet so that is very attractive but both have things I really like about them so we'll see.

Yeah there's a white 2 version. The stainless is Gin-5/AEB-L

I decided on the Akifusa from Epic Edge. The Gesshin Ginga's specs are outrageous! So light and thin and so seductive but the seemingly flatter profile of the Akisfusa, the gorgeous dark handle, and my desire to have some AS in my life won the day.
