I just made some updates to my basement knife shop. Thought I would show it off. If you have a dedicated area where you work on knives, knife maker, chef or home enthusiast. Share some pics. I am getting increasingly immobile over the years so I made a bunch of changes to keep everything I need in reach without having to stand too much. I don't have windows or ventilation in my basement so I take the sanders outside to use and clamp them to the rail on my deck.

Big cleaver needs thinning.
Little cleaver has had coarse machine thinning. I need to go back through and polish it up a bit and finish on stones and rehandle.
The big vintage chef knife is going to get completely rehabbed into a slicer.
