nice handle… is it too slippery or nah?
They look splippery but they aren’t. I have couple of kagekiyo with urushi handles and they are the same. Working in a fast paced restaurant where I constantly keep washing my hands and knives and never had a slip up yet.

It is really a fantastic knife. Yes, it is a hefty workhorse. But I have a thing for workhorses! It glides even through root celery, so I’d call it a celery slayer. It has a long-ish flat section but I have definitely seen „worse“. The tip is thin and very nice. Communication was easy and super nice! I can only recommend getting in touch with Merion Forge!!
