I would love to here some of y’all’s opinions on this Spyderco knife line.

I'm a major Spyderco fan.

But...

Just say no. At least that's my opinion.

I've had no first hand experience with this line so take my comments for what their worth.

$300+ for a 195ish mm knife that still weighs in at 160 grams is just not worth it. The handle is G10 so it's probably handle-heavy and I'd be pretty confident saying the grind is "general user" thick. AS steel is nice but can be found in much better value knives in my opinion.

You're paying $50 for Murray and $50 for Carter.

I have no firsthand experience with them. But I've read they are fully flat ground. Generally speaking, that means crap food release and lots of friction while cutting. Making a poor cutter.

That would make sense as Spyderco is known for their FFG.
