I do dabble in mezcal a bit. Love any smoky spirit.
What do you think of the double rye high west? I've had the bourbon with the antelope and the one with the ram, and neither one really impressed me. Wondering if maybe your impressions were a bit more favorable? You may have heard of shower beer… allow me to introduce, the shower Sazerac (close cousin of the ultimate “I had a **** day” beverage the shower-Treuse)

Double rye is great imo - it’s quite a bit more rye spice to than most, which I appreciate. Double Rye and MWND (at retail) are the only two bottles they do that I think are worth the price. What do you think of the double rye high west? I love gin but can’t do tonic water. Maybe I just need a different brand, but the store brand stuff by me is awfulI beg to differ, tonight’s drink is Botanist Gin and Tonic with Fever Tree Light Tonic water. It’s excellent. But, to each their own.

You can actually make your own tonic water at home, and I doubt it'd be very difficult to make something better than the store boughtI love gin but can’t do tonic water. Maybe I just need a different brand, but the store brand stuff by me is awful
I like the regular Fever Tree best with gin, but love the 'light' for mixing with Cynar (and lemon).I beg to differ, tonight’s drink is Botanist Gin and Tonic with Fever Tree Light Tonic water. It’s excellent. But, to each their own.
