Whose everyone using for handle install?

As the title says im looking to have a new handle put on my 240 denka wa however it came with a hole not a slot and both my local shops arent able to widen it into a slot. Im looking for someone within canada that can complete this work, ive attached a couple pictures

You can get needle files or needle rasps for cheap on amazon/ebay to widen the hole by hand if you can't find someone to do it for you.

Drill it, file it, then hot glue it in

As in, hot melt glue (that you might otherwise put in a hot melt glue gun).
