I went through a ton of pepper grinders and pretty much hated them all until I found the Atlas. The Magnum is not one I know. When you are making something like Chinese hot and sour soup, which calls for a big pile of ground pepper, the Atlas is the only one I liked. I liked it so much I got a smaller one, for white pepper.
Now I can’t be without it, partly because one chili dish I make requires 30 grinds of pepper from the Atlas, and I don’t much feel like measuring how much that is. Why should I? I’ll always have an Atlas. Quite possibly this same one, as it shows no signs of tiring.
