So I'm looking for a decently made but not crazy expensive apron for home use. Probably not cross-back but I'd be open to them. Needs to be full, not half, with plenty of neck adjustment. Also, years of dedicated hop and water blend testing means, my middle is, ya know, evident. :) 38" okay? Sheesh. I'd like the waist ties to wrap around in tie in front.

Again, home use so doesn't need to be anything super durable or a bunch of pockets and in fact lighter would likely be better.

Whatchya got for me KKF?

I've been on and off looking for aprons, and resisted all of them...watching with interest...
in my case sling neck bands are a no-no so cross back would be my goto design.
I sure need one to keep my clothes decent once all the DIY-ing is over.
breathable, liquid resistant, non stain etc and all of that

I started wearing one more when I'm in my little work area doing crafty stuff and I've started getting used to it so am willing to try again in the kitchen.

Not cheap, but I really like my Hedley & Bennet denim apron. They are $100 give or take, but really well made and look great. I doubt I’ll ever have to replace it. Comfortable and looks cool, which makes me much more likely to actually use it.

I was curious about Hedley & Bennet aprons so I asked my chef friend for apron recommendations and he gave me this site, https://www.chefworks.com/chefs-bib-aprons Hasn't failed him yet, so I'm picking one up from here instead of the higher priced ones.

I've looked at those and they certainly have an attractive price point but it looks like the tie string is all one piece up and around the neck. Not sure I like that idea.

So good this came up, as I was just shopping. OyakoDont, thanks for the tip.
Wound up ordering this last night. Front-tie belt makes built in towel holders. I like the wide set pockets. Items banging around in a centered pocket can be "uncomfortable" on a guy.
Will report back when it arrives. Add $10 for shipping.

Not the lightest, but very comfy hemp/cotton. Really well made; not the cheapest, but reasonably priced; sustainable materials; best looking aprons imho; etc.
