I am aware it is heavily influenced by frequency of use, ingredients cut etc. but I was wondering if you guys could share your own personal experiences!
 
I know this probably isnt the case...

But this was literally the first thought that flashed in my mind when I read the thread title..

" ... hey that question sounds like the fan fav around here Rikky, or his assistant, researching for 'content answers' , since he only cuts string, thin paper, or tomatoes-- never into a board. "

This is one of my favorite parts of a stone polish - all that time and effort just to immediately wash it away with use. It’s therapeutic even, in a sick, twisted sort of way.

That’d said, once a good base polish is down bringing it back to very nice is fairly easy compared to the first go around. I also like the patina that sets in on a nice kasumi.
