Starting early... Nectaron from the polish brewery Alebrowar at my local watering hole today.
@ethompson can I get this recipe!??View attachment 205856
My own version of a Kingston Negroni - rums, banana liqueur, Campari, vermouth, bitters, orange peel
Always!@ethompson can I get this recipe!??
Always!
0.75 oz lightly aged Rhum Agricole
0.5 oz high ester Jamaican rum (Smith & Cross ideally)
1 oz sweet vermouth (one of the rare instances I think Carpano makes sense in cocktails)
5/8 oz Campari
3/8 oz Tempus Fugit banana liqueur (no subs on this one)
2 dashes Bittermans Tiki bitters
Orange peel over the top and into the glass as garnish, bonus points if you flame it (usually not a fan, but it works here). I usually like to build this over one large cube so the first few sips are full strength and really funky / fruity before it mellows out into crushable goodness.
The x/8 measurements are finicky, sure, but I found it was the best balance with the r(h)ums and vermouth I used. Depending on what you use might require some tweaking
Worth it! Most banana liqueur is garbage, but this one is fantastic. Haven't been so sinful as to make bananas foster with it yet, but soooooooonThanks man! I’m gonna have to dig up that banana liqueur!

Thank you. It got out of hand this year – I’m getting ready to bottle about 11 cases. But I give a lot away.Awesome, love the label too!
gonna drink this mf:er now. its widely regarded as the most disgusting beer you can actually buy over the counter in this country. (and probably the neighbouring countries too)
also, me and gaijin happen to live in the same country. but he's drinking some high grade ****. i'll have to do with the arboga 10.2%
no not really. it tastes like a 5,2 and then someone just dropped a shot of polish industrial booze in there. just for the **** of it.Do you like it?
I just wonder what the knofe is doing in the picture with the bourbon ;-)
marcel would it be ok if i asked you to send me about a ton of blow? are you in the rotterdam port much these days? could also use a maybe a ton of weed and then a ton of shrooms. for personal consumption. so you know it would be going to the right place.
thats how you open bottles here. its usually with a sabre but a knife is acceptable too. as long as you do it in the traditional way.I just wonder what the knife is doing in the picture with the bourbon ;-)
