I listen to Knife Talk sometimes. It’s ok. Apparently the #1 knife related podcast, not that that says much.

For cooking I listen to The Splendid Table and The Sporkful. Proof is ok too, though more food history than cooking.

I’ve listened to bunch of episodes of Cooking Issues, with Dave Arnold. Some reasonably good info in there, although sometimes there’s a fair bit of noise, and his personality is abrasive.
Sounds like he'd be more suited to a sharpening podcast...

knivpodden it is. learn swedish. there are very few good excuses to know only one language, and if you're monolingual it is now an easy choice which other language to learn.

dave arnold is as knowledgable as he is irritating – but he often has really interesting guests that make the adhd less of a problem.

It probably doesn't make much difference in talky stuff but when it comes to music I think Pandora has a wider bandwidth for better sound quality than Spotify. But recently my wife received a free time using Apple music and it was better than both of them. My wife no longer pays for Spotify and now she pays for Apple music. I can hear the difference in my car. I talked her into switching. She was not happy as she had been on Spotify a long time. She will be adding me to her Apple music for $5 a month on her plan.

My wife added me to her family plan on Apple music. It was $16.95 a month total for up to 6 people. I think I will add my granddaughter also.

My favorite cooking podcast is KOKE-FM (I used to live near coxhaus). I like to listen to it while actually cooking. Luckily we can get it through their app here.

I've been listening to Cooking Issues since the Leatherman days (inside joke) and the run of episodes this last 6 months or so have been some of the best. You're right – he gets great guests on the show and asks them interesting questions. The ones with Nick Wong (where he actually talked!), Greg Baxtrom, and Michael Laiskonis were fascinating. They've also obviously been making an effort to curb his tendency for tangents.

Work for it is a maker based podcast with 1.5 makers as hosts. Less focused on knives directly.

If I get to knifetalk, I am bored, but it happens often.
