blank blades CPM-M4. Patina is slower but definitely patina. Excited to see how much this will develop as the PM steels seem to patina slower.

Interesting for me because I can't seem to get the Yoshikane's SKD/A2 to patina.
+1. My yoshis see pretty heavy use as the beater lasers and they only get a slight haze in the right light. cpmM4 is another tool steel correct? Remember it from spyderco limited runs

Yep on the yoshis. at this point i think a2 is stainless. I think m4 is a semi stainless steel and this ver is a powder metallurgy version of it.
