Has anyone had any experience with MADE-IN copper cookware?
I have not had experience with Made- in copperware, but agree with JustineV.
If you are going for copper pans, your best bet is too look on *tsy or eb*y for retinned/ used French cookware. You can find some good deals. Just don't bother with anything less than 2mm, honestly 3mm+ is the way to go. Heavy MFs though.
Falk Culinair is also highy recommendable and they also invented the proces of amalgamating SS with copper.
Falk pans are my daily drivers and I love them. Built like the proverbial brick outhouse...they will be used and functional long after I've been recycled.
Different process, Falk was the OEM manufacturer for most copper stainless cookware came out of the Europe before their patent expired.Really? I thought the process was invented by Metalcrafters for the manufacture of cladded coins.
I’m pretty sure All-Clad is a division of Metalcrafters out of PA
2.5 = 1.9 + 2 + 4 Maths!Falk has as an induction copper line that looks decent but I have not used it. It is 2.5mm thick, with 1.9mm of copper, 2mm stainless interior, 4mm magnetic stainless exterior (approximately).
Got a bunch of Falk about 15 years ago. Feel like Sisyphus every time I polish them but they are gorgeous and highly functional.
I know nothing about the company, but a 9.5” stainless lined copper skillet is of limited use. I mostly use that size for eggs and get cheapo disposable ceramic nonstick skillets for that use. I would consider 12” or 14” in copper. Copper shines in larger diameters where conductivity matters. Aluminum is fine for smaller pans. Just my opinion.I’m actually interested in this one here, never heard this company and seems not suspicious, tho if the claim is true it would be a huge deal.

New Hestan Copperbond came in today! I wasn’t too worried about the copper thickness (approximately 1.4mm) since I’m using induction. The looks beat-out the Demeyer Atlantis line.Q:
Any thoughts on the new Heston copper. “induction friendly” cookware?
Looks like it is a disc type product w/ copper sandwich.
Hestan is so good. So practical and well-madeNew Hestan Copperbond came in today! I wasn’t too worried about the copper thickness (approximately 1.4mm) since I’m using induction. The looks beat-out the Demeyer Atlantis line.
I’ll try to report later, but I’m just a lazy home cook, so WTFCWIT.

Falk europe is having an easter sale, 20÷ off also still for this week if I understood Neils' email correctly. Over the weekend it was extended to 25÷ for existing customers, so check your emails if interested. That pushed me over the edge and yesterday I ordered a 20 cm saute pan + frypan in copper core.BTW Falk US is running some 20% off now.

rare, vintage? I could have sworn its a De Buyer prima matera but with cast iron handle (3.3mm copper)speaking of copper - this is a rare beast (if its SS and not nickel) Rare Vintage French 3.3mm Heavy Copper Saute Pan Steel Lining 11 1/4” | eBay <-- I am not associated with that listing in anyway
must be from late 90s, since they stopped doing over 2.5mm with nikel or SS... soon after.. def a nice pan but prob weights 10lbs
price is high, but if u want rare, and if it's SS, priced probably fair..
