I was actually planning a pre-kick off post of sorts at the 90 day out mark (Dec 1).
I think there's a Denka in danger of being turned into a rectangle with a beautiful custom chickenpox finish. Can't get more bespoke than thatThere may be, but I will be resolute to my vision. Customs only for this lefty.
The wife going to the spa again?Gosh. I guess I need a new knife. Hm.
Is it lefty ground?I think there's a Denka in danger of being turned into a rectangle with a beautiful custom chickenpox finish. Can't get more bespoke than that
I have a suspicion it's square ground at this point, so can be lefty soon enough! Is it lefty ground?

Or
Milan x Kamon rectangle special??Oi Rectanglers!
That's Aussie speak for "hello people who enjoy, to some extent or another on either a routine or occasional basis, using knives that, when taken on the whole and in general terms, form a loose rectangular shape and lack a distinct point at the front of the blade."
Aussies like to shorten everything.
We are in the 90 day countdown to All Rectangle March and the Global Rectangle Owners (GRO) are no doubt getting excited.
The inaugural event was a lot of fun and I'm hoping this year is even more so. As you can see a few posts above, our own God of Rectangle Thunder, @martinhuber has something special planned that he'll be announcing in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes on this thread!
Will our other rectangle maestros @MSicardCutlery, @Knot Handcrafted, or @eddworks have anything to offer? Maybe @KAMON Knives or @milangravier, @Jaeger or @Blank Blades. or any of the other talented makers that prowl the KKF halls, will surprise us with something? Of course we know these folks are very busy, and deservedly so, so there are surely no expectations. But, maybe if not this year, if ARM continues to build in popularity, maybe they'll be coaxed into doing something in the future!
So, if you're new here or didn't participate last year, now is your time to GRO! If you don't make it the whole month, that's cool. It's just about the celebration of all things sharp and flat on the edges. If you don't have something to participate with, there's still time to make it happen. And if you're not sure of a good starting point, by all means ask. Rectanglers are a helpful bunch.
Looking forward to it!
