Im on the third episode and I'm really enjoying it.

Feels the same but different to the first season. So far pretty into it.

BTW if you want the polar opposite cooking show, The Makanai on Netflix is unreal good. The director of Shoplifters (a really excellent film) does several episodes and his group of up and comers do the rest. It's shot so so so well. It's just really heartwarming and charming and beautifully crafted.

I'm watching “music for black pigeons“ and it's making me cry.

Thanks, yep Shoplifters is excellent, didn't know this was the same director.

The new Puss and Boots movie is very solid.

I wouldn't call it a great movie, but it's a good time and well crafted. It isn't the most ambitious animated film I've ever seen, not even close, but it tells a decently tight story, is genuinely funny in parts, and I think they did a great job with the characters. I especially enjoyed the three bears.

Me too! Just finished The Sopranos and ran across b of b. One of my favorite shows of all time. Really surprised at the actors I forgot were in it. Last episode had a cameo by Jimmy Fallon!
You should check out The Pacific on Netflex Band of Brothers & The Pacific were originally series on HBO
Both were directed by Steven Spielburg & Tom Hanks. Never had HBO so got to enjoy both series on Netflex.

The Pacific is insanely good. I love BofB but Pacific is even better IMO.

Talk to Me and Equalizer 3. The new E-3 was a surprising good with great cinematography (the Italian scenery helped) and a decent story. 3rd installments are not usually this solid, except for perhaps the John Wick franchise.

I admit like movies that make me feel good, not just my favorite war flicks.

Polish movie about a genius brain surgeon. He is beaten badly resulting in amnesia. Becomes a healer in a poor village. Saves the life of a girl motorcycle accident had to do brain surgery with stolen doctors tools. Finds out that she was his daughter who he hasn't seen since she was a young child. Good acting feel good flic Forgotten Love.
