What are tremors from? I’ve started noticing them more often around here. Is this a common thing in the cooking world, like a symptom of repetitive motions, or is it just a medical issue?
 
No, this affects only cleaver users ;)

The extra weight of the blade compared to the handle is affecting one nerve in the wrist hence the tremor. I heard that octagonal handle can prevent it.
 
For me I think it was hard drug abuse when I was younger. It's never been bad enough for me to get checked out and medicated.

I think most pro’s go through a phase of this in one form or another. For me it got bad, real bad to where if I wasn’t properly inebriated my hands would shake violently... so much so I couldn't get any work done.
 
I've been seeing this guy for a long time as a youtube suggestion. Finally gave it a shot and he's actually very talented.
