The photo looks like regular FRKZ, but the spec is interesting, 4.6mm spine on the 240mm and 190g weight, if this is indeed by Ashi Hamono, then they are pretty rare.

I'm pretty sure that's a typo. Look at the specs on the 270mm and 300mm.

If hammer forged means like a forged taper compared to stock removal, then this could be an interesting one. Someone order one and let us know!

They are also correspondingly lighter, the 240mm might be an exception.

the kasumi is listed with a 52mm heel height and the mirror polish with 47mm. the 52 would be nice, i wonder if it is accurate.

I think this is right if I'm understanding everything correctly. I asked Koki and he said that the hammer-forged blades are well... hammer forged into shape from a thicker one-piece swedish SS (guessing this is referring to bar stock) whereas the regular swedish SS knives are machine stamped.
