Cutting board next to stove.
Second, you can either use something like a dough scraper....or if you're using a pan with a long handle just hold it in front of the board and swipe stuff in.
A sharpened spatula? What if, and I’m just spitballing here, you could use some kind of device that combines an edge for cutting and a broad, flat, dare I say, rectangular, surface for scooping?
Stahhhhp. Stop flirting with me!!!What if, and I’m just spitballing here, you could use some kind of device that combines an edge for cutting and a broad, flat, dare I say, rectangular, surface for scooping?
You might be missing the point on deli cups.Am really not a fan of the cheap disposable stuff like deli cups. Can understand why they make sense in a restaurant setting but at home I prefer to cut down on as much of the unnecessary waste as I can.

The idea is to wash and reuse them over and over.
The good ones are well made and last for years.
You can use them to save any unused mise or leftovers.
They're really just free Tupperware that stack efficiently.
There is a reason those that know swear by them.
I would like to find glass deli cups w lidsYeah but plastic
I have eliminated all other plastics in my life so I can use deli cups guilt free...but I don't microwave in them.Yeah but plastic
While I do love grilling over charcoal/wood, and the smokiness is imparts to the meat—my fave steak cooking method is in a skillet, either cast iron or my de Buyer.A properly pan seared steak is superior to grilling.
What? No, I’m pitching a new idea. Glass deli cups. We could make a fortune. Would you like to invest?4oz Mason jars?
I use FAR less plastic now that I use deli cups. Their longevity is what is deceiving to most people.Yeah but plastic
And at home I never buy them. I get them for "free" every time I get takeout or take leftovers home from restaurants. So the option is either rinse them and recycle them. Or reuse them several times until they break or warp and then rinse and recycle them. You might be missing the point on deli cups.

Exactly! Whole Foods give away the HW brand that last forever and can be sanitized in the dishwasher. And at home I never buy them. My unpopular opinion?Exactly! Whole Foods give away the HW brand that last forever and can be sanitized in the dishwasher.
That’s why I described them as “free” Tupperware.
Thought I had accidentally logged into my account on JeffreyDahmerForums for a moment there.
A thousand times this. Because I'm all onboard with the easy stackability and all that. But longterm usage of any plastics always left me dissapointed (takes on colors, odors, etc... deteriorating over time). Then on top of that there's long term health concerns. But the glass containers have none of that.I would like to find glass deli cups w lids
